NSUK Postgraduate Admission Entry Requirements

Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Programmes, Applicant must possess.
  1. A minimum of Bachelor’s degree or HND at upper credit level from a recognize university or polytechnic
  2. NYSC discharge, exemption or exclusion certificate/letter
  3. 5’0 Level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics
  4. Any other qualification acceptable to the Senate of Nasarawa State University, Keffi
Masters Programmes, Applicant must possess.
  1. Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of second class honours from recognized institutions
  2. Postgraduate diploma in relevant field.
  3. NYSC discharge, exemption or exclusion certificate/letter
  4. 5’0 Level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) Programmes, Applicant must possess.
  1. Master’s degree from recognized universities with a minimum of 4.00 CGPA or 60% cumulative average.
  2. NYSC discharge, exemption or exclusion certificate/letter
  3. 5’0 Level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics
(Holders of professional Masters Degree are not eligible to apply directly for any of the Ph.D programmes)
Applicants are to note the followings: 

  1. Forms are sold online at our website: nsuk.edu.ng (Select “Prospective students” link, select ‘apply online the postgraduate school) Please, follow all instructions
  2. Application Form cost N15, 000 (Fifteen Thousand Naira Only), payable using e-Transact payment platform in any branches of the following banks: Diamond, Eco, FCMB, First Bank, Mainstreet, Keystone, UBA, Zenith and Unity Bank and will last between March 30, 2015 and May 29, 2015.
  3. Applicant should check the University website for detailed application procedure and further information.
  4. Pre-Qualifying examinations will be conducted.

Nigerian Immigration Service, NIS released the names of candidates shortlisted for the immigration recruitment exercise Computer Based Test (CBT) exam.

2015 JAMB Change of Course, Institution Procedure

JAMB change of course/institution scratch card is now on sale.

JAMB Change of Course or institution

This is to inform all the candidates that attempted the 2015 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) via CBT mode of testing that that they can now do their change of course or institution.
The 2015 JAMB change of course/institution can only be effected by JAMB Authorised registration centres alone. Meaning, it can’t be done by cybercafes or business centres or individuals not certified by JAMB.
You can also go to JAMB Office to carry out the change.

How to Apply for JAMB Change of Institution and Course

Go to commercial banks or JAMB Offices to get the change of course/institution scratch card which goes for N2,500 (two thousand five hundred naira only)
After acquiring the scratch card, proceed to http://www.jamb.org.ng/unifiedtme1/regCentreLogin.aspx to effect the changes.
Note: As earlier specified, change can only be carry out by JAMB authorised centres.

Closing Date.
Closing date not yet announced. However, based on past experience, the portal may be shut down two weeks after initiation.

UNICAL School Fees Payment Procedure – 2014/15 [Undergraduates]

University of Calabar, UNICAL school fees payment procedure for the fresh and stale undergraduates for the 2014/2015 academic session.

UNICAL School Fees Payment Procedure
This is to inform both the new and returning students of the University of Calabar (UNICAL) that the management of the institution has released the procedure on how they can pay their school fees for the 2014/2015 academic session.

Steps on how to pay UNICAL fees.

1.  Students (Fresh and Returning students) should log on to the portal with their Registration Number or Matric Number
2.  Generate and Print Bill
3.  Check the list of Banks for payment according to programme of study
4.  Go to the bank and make payment on e-Transact Platform
5.  Collect bank payment slip which contain payment details and CONFIRMATION ORDER NUMBER
6.  Go back to the portal to log on with your Registartion Number or Matric Number
7.  Then input your payment CONFIRMATION ORDER on the next page to enable you gain access to the portal
